Slowmotion Walking

Walk. But far slower than feels natural.

Lift one foot. Notice the shift in weight before it even leaves the ground.

Move it forward, slowly enough that you can feel every degree of the motion.

Place it down. Feel the contact before you shift your weight onto it.

Then the other foot. Same pace. Same attention.

Slow the body.
The mind will follow.

If your mind speeds ahead of you, that's fine. Just bring your attention back to the foot that's moving right now.

Ten steps is enough to start. There is nowhere else this is trying to get you.

When even a normal walk feels like too much.
