They all pass. Hardly noticed.

A truck on the highway. A bird chirping.
The neighbour testing gravity.

Which sound is nearest to you?


Look around.

What do you see in the distance?
What do you see beside you?
A flower. A wall. Your patience.

Which details catch your eye?


The world is moving.
And so are you.

One foot in front of the other.

What do you feel on your skin?
Your clothes? A breeze? Sweat?
Or none of them at all?

And beneath your feet?
A pebble? Grass? The ground?
The soles of your shoes?


Take a breath.
The air expanding.
Escaping when you exhale.

Thoughts minding their business.
Distracting you?
The grocery list repeating itself?

Let them pass.


Arrive

A brief guided moment to slow down. Instructions to consciously direct awareness. Your feet on the ground.

Walk

In silence, at your own pace. Attention rests on the body — breath, weight, temperature, rhythm.

Notice

Sensations arise. Thoughts come and go. You observe without judgment. The body speaks clearly when you listen.

  • No communication for a while.
  • Leaving one another be for a while.
  • No phone, no electronics, no screen for a while.
  • Being unreachable for a while.
  • Being alone together for a while.

How to deepen the experience

  • Switch your phone off.
  • Or leave your phone at home.
  • Disconnect your smartwatch.
  • Come without anything or anyone that requires your attention.
  • Respect the silence of the person walking beside you.
